Twelve questions, grouped by getting started, training, billing and the studio. The answers match the method, rates and facility pages. If your question is about a company purchase order or a site check, use the corporate quotation option on the contact form.
You do not need a training history to book an assessment. Day one is a working session used to record how you move, how you breathe under light load, and which positions you can hold without pain flags. The coach on your programme will scale every test. If you have a current injury, bring the written note from your doctor or physiotherapist. We will stay inside those limits. People who already lift still complete the same intake so the first block is written from our own numbers rather than from memory of another gym.
Bring indoor training shoes, a water bottle and any brace or tape you already use. Wear clothing you can squat, hinge and reach overhead in. If a physiotherapist or doctor has issued written clearance or restrictions, bring that document. We supply mats, bands and the training floor equipment. You will fill a short health declaration before the session starts. Plan sixty minutes on the floor plus a few minutes at reception to confirm contact details and the first block dates.
Yes, when we have the written clearance and the restrictions are specific enough to programme from. Return-to-Training is the usual route. We do not diagnose, clear injuries or write rehabilitation prescriptions. The coach on your programme works from the loads, ranges and exercises your physiotherapist has allowed. If those notes change mid-block, send the update and we will rewrite the remaining sessions. Without written clearance after a recent injury or surgery, we will hold the start date.
A training block is six weeks. Sessions are 55 minutes. At the end of week six the coach writes a review covering attendance, completed volume, re-tested items and the priorities for the next block. There is no automatic gap. Most clients start the next block the following week. If you need a pause, a freeze of up to 14 days per block is available with notice, as set out on the rates page. Unused sessions after a block expires are not carried forward unless a freeze was agreed in writing.
A switch mid-block is possible when the remaining weeks can still be written as a coherent unit. Typical reasons are a change in work hours, a new restriction from your physiotherapist, or a move from one-to-one into a small-group slot that has space. The unused sessions stay on your account and are re-issued against the new programme at the same remaining count. The six-week clock continues unless the assessment items need to be re-run. Ask at reception or by e-mail so the review document stays accurate.
Tell us before you leave. Options are a freeze of up to 14 days on the current block, a move of remaining sessions into Remote Programming for the travel window, or a written hold with a restart date. Three weeks exceeds the standard freeze, so we will put the unused sessions on hold and write a short return session before the next full week. Session notes travel with you if you choose the remote option. Book the return date before you fly so the floor slot is reserved.
The studio opens at 06:30 Monday to Friday. Small-group Strength has a 06:30 slot on Tuesday and Thursday. One-to-one sessions can be booked from 06:30. Saturday opening is 07:00, with the first small-group slot at 07:15. Sunday is closed. Open-programme hours sit between the booked small-group blocks. The weekly timetable is on the facility page and is confirmed each Sunday for the week ahead.
Cancel through the booking confirmation e-mail or by writing to [email protected]. The window is 12 hours before the session start. A cancellation inside that window counts as a used session on your block. The same rule applies to one-to-one and small-group slots. If you are unwell on the day, write to us as soon as you can; we will note the reason on the attendance record. Corporate cohorts follow the schedule agreed in the purchase order.
Yes. Company programmes are quoted per engagement and can be billed against a purchase order. We issue a quotation after a scoping call, then an invoice at the end of each block. Payment is by bank transfer on the terms printed on the invoice, usually 14 days. Documents we supply on request include the scope of works, the attendance report format and our standard terms. Individual staff who pay privately use PayNow or bank transfer against a personal invoice.
CT Hub has a paid carpark. Enter from Kallang Avenue and follow the signs for the multi-storey. Lift access from the carpark reaches #06-12. Street parking along Kallang Avenue is limited and often full during weekday office hours. Most clients arrive on the Downtown or East-West lines. Bendemeer (DT23) is a 6-minute walk; Lavender (EW11) is a 9-minute walk. Bicycle parking is at ground level near the main entrance.
Changing rooms are on the same floor as the studio, with lockers, a water refill point and showers. Towels are available at reception on request. Leave outdoor shoes at the cubbies by the door; the training floor is indoor-shoe only. Lockers are day-use and are cleared at close. If you train before work, the 06:30 slots leave time to change before an 08:30 start in the Kallang or Lavender offices.
Pairs training is a listed format. Both people complete the assessment so loads and restrictions are recorded separately. You then share a 55-minute slot with a programme written for two. A guest who has not been assessed cannot join a one-to-one or a small-group session. If you want to try a session together before you enrol, book two assessment slots on the same day. Small-group Strength is capped at six and is filled by individual enrolment, so a partner needs their own place in that slot.
Write to us with the hours you can keep and any letter you already have from a physiotherapist. We will propose two assessment times inside working hours.
